- Secured And Dependable Medium Budget SUV.?koda is a symbol for dignified and safe journey. Technology, comfort and strength come with an eye soothing design here. A medium budget SUV can solve many a problem in our daily life, with a beautiful controlling system and world famous safety features. Spare parts and servicing charges should be a little lower for medium budget SUV owners.Read More
- Skoda ExperienceAs the saying goes, 'the first impression is the last impression,' and this car truly excels in every aspect, be it riding experience, aesthetics, or performance. However, a notable drawback for Skoda is the absence of a sunroof in this sedan segment. On the positive side, Skoda's services are excellent, with efficient tow services and timely workshop maintenance.Read More
- Not A Good OptionThis car suffers from poor power delivery, high fuel consumption, and cabin noise issues. The service center has been unable to identify the problem. The only positive aspect is its good steering. I do not recommend this vehicle; it's better to opt for the 1.5 DSG model instead.Read More
- Best In It's SegmentSkoda is offering a very compelling package at this price point for this car. Let me clarify a few points: Some people have mentioned that the car is smaller compared to its competitors. However, it comes with two engine options: a 1.0-litre and a 1.5-litre petrol engine. Given its performance-oriented nature, it can't be larger or wider, as this would affect its fuel efficiency. It's worth noting that it's a compact SUV with an ARAI mileage of over 18 KMPL for the PETROL engine, which is quite impressive considering its performance. Its after-sales service is decent, but its parts can be a bit expensive, and they are not available in local markets, only at authorized service centers. Sometimes, it also takes time to procure them. However, this wasn't a deal-breaker for me, as I was aware of this beforehand. It boasts the best-in-segment GNCAP 5-star safety ratings. I don't understand why people would spend 17-20 lakhs on cars that may look glossy on the outside but lack structural build quality. Your life is far too precious to risk in a road accident, which could have a different outcome due to an emotional choice when buying a car. In 2023, this car has addressed most of the issues it had when it was first introduced in 2021. Skoda had to make several compromises in its company culture of being a performance-oriented brand when building this car for the subcontinent market. To achieve over 18 miles per gallon with a petrol engine without compromising on performance, they had to cut costs. Ultimately, the company also needs to make profits. I have numerous reasons to buy this car and only a couple of reasons not to. I bought it anyway and have absolutely no regrets.Read More
- Fantastic Car In This SegmentMy purchasing experience at the Skoda showroom was exceptional. I test-drove all the cars in this segment, and the driving feel and dynamics of this car stood out as truly awesome. I'm extremely delighted and enjoying it thoroughly. Additionally, it has received a 5-star rating from GNCAP now. The after-sales service has also been satisfactory; I've already availed of a free service at 15,000 kilometres due to the SMP Package. In terms of fuel efficiency, I'm achieving 12-15 kmpl in the city and nearly 20 kmpl on the highway. These figures depend on driving habits, and if you press the accelerator forcefully, the car accelerates impressively beyond 2000 rpm. However, I did notice a minor lag below that range, but overall, it's a fantastic package. The comfort level is beyond expectations; the car offers superior comfort compared to others in this segment. To sum up, it's a remarkable car – enjoyable to drive, with excellent driving dynamics, top-notch safety, and build quality in its segment. While there are numerous pros that are widely acknowledged, let me touch upon a few cons. Firstly, the AC performance could be improved further. Secondly, there shouldn't be any rattling sound. Nonetheless, it remains a fantastic car overall.Read More
- Skoda Has Come Full Circle. A Complete Product.Skoda has always been performance-oriented in the 'Petrol' segment while maintaining good mileage. Remember how Skoda Laura Petrol used to beat BMW 3 series easily in all departments? This is my first time buying a petrol vehicle, and that's why I couldn't trust many brands. However, Skoda Laura's experience came in handy. The overall look is premium, and I chose the sunroof 'Style Anniversary Edition,' making the interiors look terrific as well. Comfort, handling around corners, and minimum turn radius have always been excellent in all their vehicles. The 1498 CC Engine (TSI) churning out 147.51 'B'HP @ 5-6000 RPM with Max Torque at 250 NM @ 1600-3500 RPM showcases the engine's range. For laymen like myself, these specifications are a perfect mix of longevity, efficiency, and performance. All in all, it's a feature-laden, great-looking European MUV for small and average families in India. It was underrated in the past due to tardy after-sales service and frequent breakdowns of certain parts not suited to Indian conditions. However, now with excellent improvements in after-sales cost, quality of service, and zero breakdowns (this is my 4th Skoda), I believe this will be my finest Skoda piece. Thanks. ÂRead More
- Kushaq Is Seriously DeceivedAnyone who buys a Skoda Kushaq is seriously deceived and has wasted their money. Since this car has serious AC issues and it takes more than 30 minutes to cool a car down in the summer, the person who says the car's AC is compatible is lying. This was verified by the service center's software inspection. The dash board, air vents, and arm rest are just a few examples of the poor hardware quality. The objects make a loud noise as a result of the engine's vibration. There is no cure for it at service centres.Read More1
