GSA’s 2nd Generation Information Technology Blanket Purchase Agreements (2GIT BPAs) provide access to Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware/software and ancillary services.
Under the agreement, Carahsoft and authorized reseller partners will jointly provide IT hardware, software, and ancillary supplies and services to the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense on a worldwide basis. In addition, these solutions are available to Federal, State, Local and Tribal Governments through the GSA Cooperative Purchasing Program. The types of IT products available to agencies under the 2GIT BPAs include Data Center (Compute/Store), End User, Network (Connect) and Order Level Materials.
The fundamental scope of the 2GIT BPAs is to provide a total solution one-stop-shop in the Information Technology market to meet the needs of the Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and other federal, state, local, regional, and tribal governments.
The 2GIT BPAs provide the following categories of products and associated services worldwide: networking equipment, servers/storage/peripherals/multimedia, identity management/biometric hardware, end user devices, and associated Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software not included on other DoD or Federal Agency enterprise license agreements.
The 2GIT BPAs provide a streamlined process for procuring IT hardware and software commodities, ancillary supplies and installation services. The types of IT products available through the 2GIT BPAs include:

Use eBuy to directly solicit quotations from 2GIT vendors for the products and ancillary services you require. Be sure to include any special requirements in your RFQ (like delivery/logistics, asset management, or security requirements). Small business or other socioeconomic set-asides can be selected with radio buttons in the 2GIT eBuy portal. Keep in mind that small businesses may need to team with a large business to fulfill your requirement due to limited letters of supply from certain OEMs/Software Publishers.
US Air Force customers must also follow the guidance laid out in this November 2020 memo.
