In order to maintain the effectiveness of our antibiotics, we must only use them prudently and in a targeted manner. In order to be able to protect certain active substances as the last remaining therapeutic option, their use must be very limited.

Antibiotics may only be used if there is a medical necessity and a therapeutic success can be expected. Antibiotic therapy is not necessarily indicated for every bacterial infection.
