From direction Dortmund (A 2):

Take the motorway exit Braunschweig-Watenbüttel, drive into the direction Braunschweig until Watenbüttel, turn right at the second traffic light. After about 2 kilometres you will see the entrance of the Thünen-Institute (vTI) on the right hand. The office building of the BVL is located at the area of the Thünen-Institute.

From direction Berlin (A 2):

Take the motorway A 391 direction Kassel at the motorway junction Braunschweig-Nord, motorway exit Braunschweig-Lehndorf. Turn right and follow the street for about 3 kilometres. You will reach directly the entrance of the Thünen-Institute (vTI). The office building of the BVL is located at the area of the Thünen-Institute.

From direction Kassel (A 7) and Salzgitter (A 39):

Coming from Kassel take the motorway A 39 direction Berlin/Braunschweig at the motorway junction Salzgitter, then change to motorway A 391 at the motorway junction Braunschweig-Südwest until the motorway exit Braunschweig-Lehndorf. Follow the street into the direction Lehndorf for about 3 kilometres. You will reach directly the entrance of the Thünen-Institute (vTI). The office building of the BVL is located at the area of the Thünen-Institute.

Arrival by bus:

After arriving at Braunschweig's Hauptbahnhof, the bus line 411 will take you in the direction of "Lamme" without changing to the BVL location Bundesallee. The bus journey is about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop "Bundesallee". The bus stop is located directly at the entrance to the Thünen-BVL-Campus. Since the area is very large, you will need to plan a longer walk or have your host pick you up at the main entrance. The walk from the main entrance to the office building Bundesallee 51 takes about 30 minutes.

After arriving at Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof, you can also take a taxi to the BVL location Bundesallee. Please take a taxi to the service building Bundesallee 51. This eliminates the 15-30 minute walk from the main entrance of the Bundesallee Campus to the BVL service buildings.
