The PM-eBus Sewa scheme, with an outlay of Rs 3,435 crore, aims to deploy over 38,000 electric buses by 2028-29 to replace diesel buses

Better charging infra

With Rs 2,000 crore allocated for over 74,000 public charging stations, the focus on infrastructure is expected to boost EV adoption

A new e-voucher system for EV buyers will streamline incentives, but it requires seamless implementation to avoid delays
