Hello, I am developing a reporting application for a tool that use perl scripts on the background to do business processes. We are running several processes in parallel and at times the system get slow. We are trying to see the resource utilization on the process (like system CPU, idle_time, avg_load, highest_load, low_load etc), memory utilization etc) and write to a file on disk on completion of the process. The file is eventually loaded into a reporting engine.
