This project involved the comprehensive design and development of a residential subdivision in Nelson County, Kentucky. The scope of work included site layout planning, grading, lot subdivision, and road design, adhering to local zoning and environmental regulations. The objective was to create a well-organized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing residential community, while ensuring efficient use of land and infrastructure. The key components were: Site Layout Plan which involved conceptualizing the overall layout of the subdivision, taking into consideration the natural topography, environmental features, and existing infrastructure. Grading Design which was crucial given the undulating terrain of the site Lot Sub-division with careful consideration to local ordinances and lot size requirements Road design and storm water management

This project focused on assessing flood risks and developing an effective stormwater management plan for a site located within FEMA's Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Zone A, in the city of Helotes, Bexar County, Texas. The aspects of this project included conducting detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using HEC-RAS, delineation of the floodplain and calculation of approximate base flood elevations, consideration of both current and future development impacts on flood risk and achieving 'No Rise' certification. For storm water management, post and pre-development drainage conditions were determined and various structures like channels and detention pond sized and designed to make sure that the proposed run-off from the site was equal or less than existing run-off. The applications used for this project were Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and ArcGIS
