I like to think of MoonWatcher as my oldest known ancestor. Had he lived in our times, he'd be well versed in the following: ● Database systems: • Airtable: database design, automation and scripting. • MS-Access, a sentimental favorite, handy and versatile like the ancient bone-made tools. • other databases: MS-SQLserver • MySQL • PL/SQL • DB2 SQL/400. • lastly a set of forgotten, prehistoric tools: dBase, Borland, Paradox, FoxPro. ● Programming languages (in alphabetical order): • ABAP (SAP) • C# • Cobol, all its reincarnations • IBM AS/400-iSeries, its languages: RPG, Cobol, CL, SQL/400, Query/400. • Javascript • Visual Basic, all its reincarnations As you've read up to this point, you may feel intrigued by MoonWatcher's origins and developments. Read the first chapters in Arthur Clarke's "2001, A Space Odyssey". The anthropoid's fears and amazements, his early attempts at understanding the world, are magistrally depicted.
