As an Assistant professor in Electrical Engineering with over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering education and a solid background in the energy and electrical sectors. I have extensive experience in electrical systems modelling using different software packages like MATLAB and Simulink, DIgSILENT, ETAP and COMSOL.
Samples of some topics that I teached before:
Review of vectors analysis and vector algebra basics, vector calculus (divergence, gradient, curl, Laplacian), and coordinate systems (cartesian, cylindrical and spherical). Electrostatics: Coulomb’s law, Gauss’s law (integral and differential forms, divergence), electric scalar potential (line integral, gradient), Laplace and Poisson’s equations (Laplacian), conduction and polarization, boundary conditions on conductors and between dielectrics, method of images, resistance and capacitance. Magnetostatics: Biot-Savart law, Ampere’s law (integral and differential forms, curl), magnetic vector potential, Lorentz force, magnetization, boundary conditions between magnetic materials, magnetic energy and inductance.
