Automotive Market Research - Native Japanese Field Partner (should be located in Japan and preferably in or near byTokyo/Nagoya))

My name is Bhuvanesh Madaiah and I work for MarketingPRO, an Italian marketing service company well active in the area of international market intelligence surveys. For more company info, please surf [login to view URL] I’m writing this while we are discussing a potential market survey in Japan (preferably Tokyo greater-area) in the Automotive sector. We are looking for a professional contact person interested in having an active role in this survey. Below is some general information in regards to the project: THE ACTIVITY We would need the contact person to gather market retail prices of a precise list of Automotive spare parts. Just to make an example, we will provide the person with part numbers short-listed of parts (like oil filter insert, alternator, rear bumper and so on…) of specific cars brands (like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc..). The contact person will have to contact official dealers in his/her area and collect the market retail price of the above-mentioned short-list of spare parts. In addition to this, the contact person will also have to gather some information regarding aftermarket sales (like Independent workshops). WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR We look for a person that, during the period of approx. 2 months (precise timing to be agreed before project start-up) can organise his/her timing to perform the market research. The activity itself requires approx. 20 full days and the person can organise the time needed during the project time-span of 2 months (i.e. part-time or only during specific days of the week). It is not important to have experience within the Automotive industry, but it is of paramount importance to be a reliable and professional person. We’ll keep in touch through e-mails mainly. For instance, a reliable university student, a part-timer, a free-lance journalist, or a sales representative would be fine. WHAT DO WE OFFER We offer the possibility of a long term (though project-based) co-operation, the chance of gaining good money and the chance of being part of an international circuit of consultants to be involved in market surveys. We also offer field training: we’ll join you for 4-5 days in your country in order to work together on-field and bring our project experience after performing this kind of surveys in more than 50 countries around the world. TIMING Project timing for your country regards a start-up foreseen around the end of January 2025 or at the beginning of February 2025 and a deadline within 2 months after the start-date.
