Consultation for Mobile App Development (iOS/Android)

Hi, We are looking to talk to a mobile app (iOS/Android) designer/developer/engineer. At this point we are NOT looking for someone to build the app. Rather, we would like to talk to someone to learn more about the proper technical terms, what requires additional money/complexity to build, and hear about ways to build the app. So, in a way we are looking for a consultation. Ideally you would be able to answer the following questions: 1. There is an app called “Barcode Scanner by ShopSavvy’ that scans the barcode on a product (like a shampoo bottle, face cream, sunscreen) and then tells the price at various online and in person stores. a) Is this complex to build? b) How much maintenance does this require? c) Is this information publicly available? d) Could we use this information legally from another app? e) If one were to build this, how would we explain what we need? 2. There is an app that already exists called ‘Think Dirty.’ When a user is using their app and scan a barcode all the ingredients of that product is listed a) Is this list of ingredients publicaly available? b) If not, where could we obtain it from? c) Are we able to obtain that data from the Think Dirty app in a legal way? d) Would we have to gather that information ourselves? If so, how would we do that? 3. Would we be able to use any mobile app makers (Good Barber, Appy Pie, BuildFire, AppMachine, ShoutEm) that have both functions (1. Scan a barcode and 2. Show the prices of the information)? During our discussion, we will have additional questions that come up. It is important to note you will be paid on your ability to deliver answers. You will not be paid merely for contacting places, trying hard, or sending out emails without hearing back.
