Bosch eBike batteries
Bosch eBike batteries are efficient, long-life power sources. You can find the right one for any type of eBike and every requirement. The lithium-ion batteries combine low weight with ergonomic design and simple handling. Thanks to their impressive mileage, long service life and an intelligent battery management system (BMS), which protects the battery from damage, they are among the most modern and safest on the market.

Frame battery
Because it is a frame battery, the PowerPack is easy to access and remove. Thanks to its low centre of gravity, it ensures balanced weight distribution.
Rack battery
Thanks to their higher positioning on the eBike, rack batteries can be removed and charged conveniently while standing.
Integrated battery
The PowerTube integrates perfectly in the frame, creating an elegant, clean eBike look.
PowerPack batteries
The versatile power sources: PowerPacks from Bosch are visibly mounted on the eBike frame or luggage rack. Charging is very simple with both variants: For charging with a Bosch charger, the PowerPacks can be removed easily, or charged directly on the bike itself. The high-quality, long-life frame or rack batteries have a high energy density combined with compact size and light weight.
PowerPack Frame
The PowerPack Frame batteries are located on the outside of eBike frame, on the seat tube or downtube. They feature a carrying handle so that you can remove them easily and carry them conveniently.
All frame batteries of the smart system use the same mount. You can simply insert another battery, provided the geometry of the eBike allows it. You can use a smaller battery to reduce the weight or a larger one to increase the range.
PowerPack Rack
Rack-variant PowerPacks are positioned on or under the luggage rack. For eBikes with a step-though frame this battery position has advantages – greater freedom, for example, when mounting or dismounting. In addition, thanks to their higher position on the eBike, the powerful batteries can be easily and conveniently attached and removed. The greater distance to the ground also protects them from water splashes and any impact from stones.

PowerTube and CompactTube batteries
For the highest demands in terms of performance and aesthetics: Bosch PowerTubes blend ideally into the clean design of the eBike – they are integrated into the frame tube. They come in two variants, horizontal or vertical. Both are installed directly by the manufacturer to match the relevant eBike model. A safety catch prevents the battery from falling out. Where provided for, however, the batteries can be easily and conveniently removed .
PowerTube
Discreetly integrated into the frame tube, these high-quality power sources are barely noticeable. Bosch offers numerous PowerTube variants, with different energy contents, in the smart system and in the Bosch eBike System 2. So you're prepared for any challenge – whether it's sporty riding on trails with your eMTB, energy-sapping uphill riding with a fully loaded eCargo bike, or shorter, everyday rides in the city.
CompactTube 400
Slim, integrated, compact and delivering 400 watt hours at a weight of only around 2 kilograms, it's a real energy champion: The CompactTube 400 with innovative battery cell technology offers the highest energy density of all Bosch PowerTubes. This makes the extra-lightweight battery the ideal choice for sporty, light eMTBs, minimalist eGravel bikes or design-oriented eUrban bikes – in short, for anyone who loves the sleek appearance of conventional bikes but doesn't want to do without electric support.

Extended range
Battery combinations and additional batteries: One battery alone is not always enough. eCargo bikes put a lot of strain on the battery due to their higher weight, especially with a heavy load on board. On treks lasting several days with completely filled saddle bags, a full battery makes for more carefree riding. You've discovered another trail you simply don't want to miss? For these and other cases, Bosch eBike Systems has developed solutions to maximise range.
DualBattery
Use two batteries simultaneously – for even more range: DualBattery is ideal if you want to ride long distances or are riding an eBike that consumes more energy – for example an eCargo bike or an S-pedelec. The system switches intelligently between the batteries, so they are charged and discharged evenly, which increases the service life. In cases where you need less power, you can simply leave one of the two batteries at home.

Range Extender:
PowerMore 250
Portable energy reserve: PowerMore 250 is the additional battery the size of a drinks bottle for even greater range and longer-lasting trail fun. Compact in size and weighing just 1.5 kilograms, the Range Extender can be easily mounted in the water bottle holder. The Range Extender can be combined with all batteries of the smart system. Please find out in advance, from specialist dealers, if you can use the Range Extender for your eBike.
