The BS6 TRK 502 features a new top rack design made from cast rather than bent pipes. The revised seat design gets better cushioning, which may improve the bike's overall riding experience. Other notable updates include new knuckle guards with an aluminium frame for better protection. The handlebar is finished in black rather than silver for better aesthetics. The same goes for the mirrors, which come with a faux carbon finish. Other noticeable changes include a new, thicker grip design, which may reduce engine vibes even further. The rev range on the console now gets a white backlight for better night visibility. The switchgear has been redesigned too with a blue backlight.
The TRK 502 continue to use the same trellis frame with USD forks and a mono-shock (rebound and preload-adjustable). Anchoring the bike are twin 320mm discs up front and a single 260mm disc at the rear. Its 17-inch wheels come wrapped in 120/70-section front and 160/60-section rear tyres. At 800mm, the bike's seat height is relatively accessible.
Benelli TRK 502 BS6 gets a white backlight for better night visibility with an orange back-lit digital inset. No change has been made in the readouts, though. The meter displays a gear shift indicator, digital clock, trip meter, digital speedometer and other tell-tail lights.
