The Court Reporting Services office is primarily responsible for accurately capturing and maintaining the record for all courtroom and remote proceedings for each division of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, including Family, Juvenile, Criminal, and Civil.\u00a0 Please contact this office if you need assistance accessing a remote proceeding.\u00a0 All requests for transcripts and\/or digital recordings must be made in writing through this office using the forms below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Transcripts<\/strong> are the official record and are required for appeals.\u00a0 Only transcripts prepared by this office or at its direction are deemed the official record.\u00a0 To estimate the cost of a transcript, please note that every hour on the record in court would yield approximately 50 pages.\u00a0 See the Transcription Rate Schedule below for detailed information regarding page rates and turnaround times.<\/p>\n

Digital audio recordings<\/strong> are available to anyone for purchase.\u00a0 The viewing software is included on the disc, so no additional program is required to play it.\u00a0 Advance payment is required for digital recordings, and instructions regarding payment are located at the top of the Digital Recording Request Form below.<\/p>\n
