How does App My Community streamline campground operations?

Your customized app can help streamline the experience for both staff and guests through features like activity lists, time booking, push notifications, searchable maps, custom forms, in-app purchases, and more. 

The app can replace physical activity sign-up lists, digitize waivers, simplify the check-in and check-out process for campers, and alleviate the need to staff long hours at the campground office. Pricing is based on the size of your campground, RV resort, or community. In addition to an extensive list of built-in features, the app is fully customizable to your needs. App My Community is a digital solution for campgrounds and RV resorts, chambers of commerce, and other community organizations. The fully customized app includes functionality such as messaging and push notifications, and can be used to communicate directly with campers and staff. Quickly and efficiently share important information around things like operating hours, power outages, and emergencies.

Once you become an App My Community customer, we work with you to customize your app to your liking, from building out the functionality you need to populating the app with content. When you need more features or have questions, we’re here to help.


If you want to give it a try before you buy, you can build a demo app in a few easy steps. Simply specify your location, pick a template, customize it, and then download the app.

Typically, campgrounds or RV resorts can be live in the app store within two weeks. A chamber of commerce app takes about one month to go live.

You can use the App My Community Studio to build out a demo app that includes most of our features. Note that this is a trial app that cannot be released for public downloads.

We only offer annual contracts. This is in order to avoid charging a large up-front development fee or additional costs for deploying new features. Our goal is to make your mobile app useful and successful all year long, not just during your peak season. 

You can use the app in the off-season to bring forward revenue and get guests excited about your community in advance of their visit. For example, you may consider releasing a summer event calendar early in the year to get people to book further in advance.

App My Community offers a variety of additional administrative services to aid new and existing customers. If you want App My Community to manage content or create specific sections, we can do so for a nominal fee. Contact us if you’d like to learn more about additional services.

We suggest creating a QR code with a link to download your app and emailing it to guests ahead of their visit. You can also put the QR code on signage throughout your property and at your front office.
