First, I'm not an Apple fan. Never have been, never will be. I do own an Amazon Fire TV Cube and I have an Apple account. Why do I have an Apple account? Because they FORCE you to have one if you want to subscribe to their Apple+ streaming service.

The streaming service itself is GREAT! Tons of really great shows, series, movies, documentaries ... name it, they got it! So why do I want to give their app ZERO stars? By the way, I'm NOT the only person who would give Apple ZERO stars!

Well, about a week ago the audio for every single show, series, movie, and documentary simply vanished. No more audio tracks in ANY of their programming streamed through my Amazon Fire TV Cube! Every other app (more than 20) installed on my Fire TV Cube produces perfect audio. Just NOT the Apple+ app!

The Apple+ app DOES produce perfect audio on my 4K Roku box, so I'm actually not missing ANYTHING. I just can't watch it on my Amazon Fire TV Cube because THERE'S NO AUDIO!

No surprise, but Amazon has ZERO control over the quality and performance of the apps from ANY of the streaming services. After you wade through the nearly endless list of suggestions to troubleshoot an app (via the Amazon Fire TV Cube support forum), their final suggestion is to "contact the app developers."

Seriously? Have you or do you know of ANYONE who has EVER successfully contacted ANY developer of ANY software product, much less anyone at Apple? Ain't gonna happen. EVER!

So, if you can't live without the Apple+ streaming service, buy a Roku box! They even sell them right here on Amazon, which is where I got mine!
