Rosacea can present in many different ways - such as flushing, redness or uneven texture to the skin - but no matter what your symptoms, consistent skincare can make a world of difference.

These products are our favourites for a gentle routine that cleanses and hydrates, keeping irrititants and triggers to a minimum. Keep an eye out for ingredients such as alcohol, menthol and fragrance as they may disrupt the skin. If it stings, burns or irritates - try something else!

As your skin is especially sensitive due to rosacea, we recommend patch testing on the neck or inner arm before applying it to the face. Try to choose a simple routine that gives your skin exactly what it needs - to be cleansed, and to be well-hydrated.

It is so important to avoid harsh soaps and detergents, so try a gentle milky cleanser that locks in moisture. Be sure to use cool or lukewarm water, as hot water can damage the skin's barrier. Do not use a rough cloth for cleansing - we recommend a soft muslin cloth if you need to use one.

If cleansing is too much for your skin, try using a micellar cleanser. Best used on a high-quality cotton pad to remove makeup and the day's impurities, this nifty product tones and cleanses all in one. Don't rub, instead but press the pad against your skin before gently wiping.

There are so many great options out there when it comes to moisturisers suitable for rosacea! French brands such as Bioderma and La Roche-Posay specialise in creating products for reactive skin.
