NACAA will hold its 2024 Fall Membership Meeting on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9, 2024 (ending around 3:30 p.m. on October 9), at The Alexandrian Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. The NACAA Board of Directors and Committee Chairs’ meeting will be held on the afternoon of Monday, October 7, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET.
The meeting will feature sessions where state and local officials like you can share your experiences and best practices, interact with EPA officials and spend time with your colleagues from agencies around the country! To facilitate more meaningful interaction between our federal, state and local attendees, this meeting will be held in-person only.

All those who plan to attend are responsible for making their own hotel reservations directly with The Alexandrian by calling (888) 236-2427 (asking for the NACAA room block) or by going online to https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1702061765429&key=GRP&app=resvlink. The deadline for making your hotel reservation is Monday, September 9, 2024. NACAA has negotiated a room rate of $269 per night plus applicable taxes. [Please note: the online registration form includes a destination fee, that has been waived for all NACAA attendees. Your room rate at check-out will be $269 plus 15.5% taxes and a $1.25 fee per night. The destination fee will be removed when you check out.] We cannot guarantee the group rate after the cut-off date so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
Once you register for the meeting, if you need to cancel your attendance for any reason, it is imperative 1) that you contact Monique at NACAA (mfaye@4cleanair.org) to cancel your meeting registration AND 2) that you contact the hotel directly to cancel your room reservation. Reserved rooms may be cancelled without charge or penalty before 11:59 p.m. two (2) days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Mark your calendars! NACAA will once again be offering a fun “Walk Through History – Old Town Alexandria,” on the night of Monday, October 7! Details to follow. The tour is free to NACAA meeting attendees and their friends and family. The tour will last about 75 minutes. We recommend comfortable shoes to navigate the cobblestones! We’ll ask you to RSVP via e-mail (4cleanair@4cleanair.org) once we send out the details.
