Hi ,
We haven’t heard back from you in about a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation (please just see my post above).

Hey @creativelydepressed, can you please share if you have an ad blocker plugin enabled on your WordPress website? If so, please try to disable it and try again. If you still face any issues, please contact us with further details so we can help you fix this issue.
Hello @teamsportsofficial,
I believe you have confused us with a different plugin; we do not force you to upgrade at any point if you have objections.
We do have a Free Plan. I am sorry that our Free version does not fit your needs. Our Free Plan should help you test the features initially. You do not have to upgrade the plan unless you want to try our paid features. You can find details of our free plan feature here.

Hello,
Apologies for the inconvenience you experienced. To gain a better understanding of the issue, would you kindly send us a screen recording to care@pushengage.com? This will enable us to provide more effective guidance on resolving the installation problem.
If you want to disable pop-ups but still have the bell icon visible on your website, it’s important to note that the recovery widgets require at least one pop-up to be enabled in order to work properly. Therefore, to achieve your desired outcome, you could try the following solution:
- Log in to your website’s Dashboard or admin panel.
- Look for the PushEngage plugin and navigate to the “Designs” section.
- Click on “Pop up Modals” and enable at least one pop-up style. Note that PushEngage offers a bell icon design as well, which may suit your needs.
- Save the changes and refresh your website to confirm that the pop-up is now visible on at least one page.
- Look for the recovery/subscriber management widget you want to use and enable it if it’s not already enabled. The recovery widget will work only when someone has clicked on the block button. But you can use the subscriber management widget to manage the subscription, unsubscription and segments simultaneously.
- Save the changes and refresh your website to confirm that the bell icon is visible and functional.
With PushEngage, you should now have a visible bell icon while having at least one pop-up enabled for recovery widgets to work properly. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to PushEngage’s support team for assistance by writing to us at care@pushengage.com.
Currently, we offer the floating icon as one of our popup designs, but we’re actively working on introducing new styles. However, in the meantime, we have a couple of workarounds that could be helpful.
One option is to add a subscribe-on-button-click feature. You can design your own button or icon and add the necessary code to create widgets within your dashboard. Here is the guide that will help you understand this better. https://www.pushengage.com/how-to-collect-web-push-subscribers-using-button-or-link-click/
Another alternative is to use our subscription management widget, which can provide a similar solution. Here is a helpful guide on how to enable and customize the widget: https://www.pushengage.com/documentation/how-to-enable-subscription-management-widget-and-customize-it/.Hi Peter,
You can create your own notifications with the custom titles. For the autosend ones although we have the default notification title on, we do provide an option to set your custom notification title inside the article. You can refer to the screenshot below. Please let us know if this works.
Best,
Team PushEngageHello,
The solution to your query is that you enable Single step Opt-in from PushEngage Dashboard settings if you have access to the root folder of your website. And also add the service worker file to the root folder.
(For Single step Opt-in : Go to Settings > Subscription settings > Subcription Dialogbox > select the right-most option named ‘Push Single step Opt-in’)
(For Service worker file : Go to Settings > Installation settings > Site settings > chose the Website type and Add script > Download package file)If you do not have access to the root folder or have any further queries, please mail care@pushenage.com.
Yes this is possible, using our API or our automation campaigns. Please get in touch with us at care@pushengage.com or do a live chat with us.
We will guide you through.
Yes on PWA web push notification will work.
Can you please uninstall and install the plugin with new API key. That should ideally solve the issue.
if the problem still persists, please email us at care@pushengage.com
Mike
