UpdraftPlus: restore faled

    Hello
    I need to migrate from a wordpress dev instance to production and used UpdraftPlus.
    The backups are fine, but restore does not work.
    The log says it cannot copy plugins.... the PHP version fits, there is enough disk space available... 
    Please advice what to do.

    Hi,

    To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the full restoration log only?
    You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
    You can send the log file and copy the contents into an online tool (such as http://pastebin.com/ )

    Is that sufficient or do you need the files in addition?

    Hi,

    The issue is that the plugin cannot move some the Elementor plugin files

    You will either need to change your permissions using this guide https://www.malcare.com/blog/wordpress-file-permissions/

    Or you could try deleting the Elementor plugin before attempting the restore.
