Duplicator allows you to restore the backups in two ways:

• The Classic installation method:

  The Classic installation method is free, both free and paid plugins can use it to restore the backups.
• The Import method
  This article shows how to restore your backup using the Import method
  https://duplicator.com/knowledge-base/import-install/
  
  The Import method is a paid feature that’s available only for Duplicator Pro.
