Same here, this seems to have gone (??).
We also have the Post Types Order plugin which just lets us view/re-order the tickets sold but not access any details – see screenprint showing menu item:

De-activating Post Types Order loses the ‘Tickets’ section entirely from the admin menu.
Using WP 4.9.8 with all plugins at latest versions.

if you are having this issue is due to the admistrator does not have the capability of seeing the tickets. In order to activate it, install the plugin “members” (https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/members/) and after install it and activate it, just go to “users” -> “roles” -> “administrator” -> “purchased tickets” and check all the capabilities as grant as you can see in the image of the following link https://screencast.com/t/2qTUiIBymW
