  • Hello @duboi

In order to display custom field data,
you can use GD > Output Location block/shortcode.
    https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/62-gd-output-location

or to show them individually you can use
    https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/68-gd-post-meta

You can also follow a few videos to get a basic idea about the Geodirectory features and settings.

Didn’t you look at my screenshot? You should answer me something other than looking at the doc. Actually we can’t use your plugin on any theme to add custom fields. Some fields appear and some don’t. You have to use shortcodes but the result in a post is that there are no more fields.
Too bad. I just wanted to add a directory to my site on a betheme theme. I don’t use gutemberg, it’s messed up.

    Hello,

we would be happy to answer your questions in more detail.
I checked your screenshot and saw the default places fields.

When custom fields are added using our plugin features they show up in that same box.
When the fields are filled a widget must be used on the template for the Post Type to show the fields.

Naveen recommended GD Output Location, which is a widget that makes the field display easy to set in place.
The GD Output Location widget can be set in the details page template, which you can find in the GD Pages settings
WP Admin – GeoDirectory – Settings – Pages

The only solution for my theme is to make the shortcodes appear in the post. The problem when I export the csv, I get a csv file like this one:

it will be complicated to import addresses in bulk with a csv. I won’t be able to match addresses, websites… I will have to do this manually every time, I want to automate this process so that it integrates directly into place.

Sounds like more than just a directory, and very interesting!

If you have questions about using GD’s advanced features like the REST API just let us know.

Did you have a question about CSV files?

In fact I exported a geodirectory csv that corresponds to this page ()
The resulting csv looks like this
How can I put other companies with different addresses in this csv and import them into Geodirectory without having to enter the data manually?
There is a problem, the fields addresses, websites are shortcodes in the csv because they are only displayed like that on my website

    Hello @duboi

Could you please provide us with a sample CSV?

“There is a problem, the fields addresses, websites are shortcodes in the csv”
    This sounds weird to me.

    Thanks

I will reply to you on the form of your website, the wordpress forum removes my links

    Hi @duboi,

Thanks for sharing this screenshot https://www.zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=22/28/3325.png

You are certainly doing a few things wrong. In the given screenshot, I can see shortcodes in the post content, which is not recommended.
Ideally, You should never add a shortcode in GD post content.

Instead, Geodirectory has common templates for Business Details, Archive, search, and location.
In this video, You can know more about GD defaults templates and their customization.

    for Import/export operations in Geodirectory
You can follow this video, which has a detailed explanation of how to bulk import data with CSV file in Geodirectory

I hope it will be helpful. Let us know if you have any further queries.

    Regards
