This has been going on for a couple of years now on my site. After an update you get a button to update the element or database. “Click here to run now” “Database update process is running in the background. Taking a while?”

And when I click it I get “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums”

I had to reach out for support and for a couple of years that at no point have I had any helpful response. And, there is no way to follow your support ticket thread in your customer panel. Horrible support. I can’t imagine what people do that have sites that get crashed. I guess they are held hostage and have to pay them to fix it.

We’re sorry to hear about your ongoing issues with database updates. This shouldn’t be happening, and our support team is always available to assist you at no extra charge if you have an active Elementor Pro subscription.

It sounds like there could be a deeper compatibility or hosting configuration issue causing the critical error. We’d love to help you troubleshoot this further. We’re here to ensure your site runs smoothly and appreciate the opportunity to assist you better.

I just made a video to show you want I see in my admin and I do have the pro version and I have filled out tickets and I never get any helpful responses only see advertising emails and what I do see is multi million dollar advertising campaigns for your hosting services. Is the support as bad for hosting? Here is the video: https://www.loom.com/share/dbddf5873a3d4d09bc90beda415ec3eb?sid=efedb710-36a1-480e-9441-94a4f90359da

Hey! I rolled back to version 3.25.11 and everything works again.

It seems to be an incompatibility with Phlox maybe…. this is the last stable version anyway.

    Good luck!
