This is confusing me too.
When I go to Settings > Reading, I can see that the “Latest Posts” is selected – not a static page. I have no idea where the theme is pulling its info from – there is no static page selected nor a blog post that looks anything like the front page.
And, when I create a Page and select that newly-created page as the static page to display as the Front Page, it is not displayed.
The more I play around with this, the more frustrated I become. I’m wondering if the frontpage of the Raft Theme is somehow embedded in the database and therefore cannot be changed except by modifying the theme.

FWIW, changing themes solves the problem.
Hey @bennettskaya and @vlbooth,
Thanks for using Raft and reaching out.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. I was able to replicate this issue and have forwarded it to our developers and it will most likely be fixed in the next update.
Thanks again for reporting and being an active community member.
Have a great day!
Thank you for following up.
Hello, I have a similar problem, and it seems to me I still cannot solve the frontpage problem. I followed advice of my hosting provider Hostinger, which made me to create a frontpage Home, but this only made things more confusing, as now the Home frontpage is listed there, but not working properly (view and edit links are leading to different webpages).
Will this be solved soon?
Hi @pohlpiano,
This issue was fixed in November last year so you must be experiencing something different.
If you can create a new thread and clearly explain the issue + provide some screenshots if possible so we can replicate the problem that would be very helpful. Thanks!
