Hi @degas,
Thanks for reaching out.
With our recent release, the minimum supported WordPress version was raised to 5.6.0.
It sounds like the “WordPress Version” is displaying outdated information, I appreciate you for bringing it to our attention. I’ve notified our developers to get this info up to date to avoid future confusion. Moving forward, it will say “WordPress Version: 5.6.0 or higher”.
This means MonsterInsights will not work on WordPress version 5.4.13. I’m sorry about that.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you.
We have the same problem. You should prevent your plugin from updating if it is not compatible any more.
Hi @jochent,
I’m sorry for the trouble. When it is most convenient for you, our recommendation would be to update your WordPress site to the latest version, as it ensures not only compatibility with our plugin but also provides access to the latest security fixes, bug fixes, and better compatibility with other plugins since older versions of WordPress may no longer be supported.
Our focus is on maintaining compatibility with the latest and supported versions of WordPress to provide the best experience to our users. Here are some guides that provide information about the versions that MonsterInsights supports, and more details on when support for specific versions will be phased out:
If you have further questions, please let me know.
Thank you.
