Has anyone checked this plugin on PHP 8.1 ?

Hi,

I gave your plugin a whirl this morning and it worked a treat.

I did have one issue; I am using Perfect Images by Meow Apps. It shows a retina image automatically on retina enabled devices.

With Lazy load optimiser installed, it prevents the retina images form loading, loading the standard 1x image instead.

Do you know what may cause this or how we could go about rectifying it?

great plugin. The only one which solved product gallery of screen differ problem.

After activating the plug-in I found out that image zooming doesn’t work as it should. There is only part zooming effect.

Could you please let me know how to fix it (what css to exclude)?

Hello I need your help with the lazy load plugin, my website, bellisimasnails.com has it installed and I use the eduma and learnpress template and I uploaded a content for a course and with the lazyload plugin the videos do not load me, I also use autoptimize and wp fastest cache for optimization but with only deactivating lazy load the videos already appear, how could we solve it, since I see that your plugin works for optimization but it removes the videos, will there be a way to fix it and be able to use the plugin?

Hello, I’m trying your plugin and it looks like it’s working really good.
I would like to ask if there is any way to lazy load also pictures embedded from instagram : in the wordpress editor they are simply added pasting the url, but then when the page is shown, the inspection of the element reveals that the pic is loaded inside an iframe, so I’m wondering if there is any way to add support for that iframes too.

This is a nice plugin but I got a problem with Youtube embedded iframes for Divi (and others from Divi Builder), they are not showing after the page is loaded.

Google Maps iframes are lazy-loaded fine, so I would need to only use this functionality for specific pages, is that possible?

I’ve added a custom class to product images loaded by Ari Lightbox with this code:

$("img").addClass("myimg")

And added ‘myimg’ to the ‘CSS classes to exclude’ area, but the images are still be lazyloaded.

The custom class is working fine but I’m seeing ‘class=”wp-post-image myimg lazyloaded”‘

The reason I need to do this is that if a product has variant options (I have all variations viewable on the catalog page) when a customer clicks on a variation to be taken to the product page, the wrong product image is displayed (default rather than variation). If lazy loading is disabled the correct image is displayed.

I’ve also tried stopping lazy loading for /product/ in the ‘Exclude pages by URI’ section, but this stops the thumbnails in the cart widget from loading.

Any idea how I can get the custom class to not be lazy loaded?

Out of every 10 images or pdf documents I have in a page, only 6 or 7 images/pdf load. The rest of the images/pdf do not appear, just showing the spinner icon.

When your plugin tries to get svg image from w3.org, 403 error appears on console.

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()

I think w3 doesnt support svg from outside ?

Hello! Thanks for this plug-in! It’s the first one that also supports lazy loading for my instagram widget.

However, for some reason the plugin adds white space below the top menu. Likely it has to do with some custom code for a search-bar I implemented below the menu. Already tried to exclude many classes, but none worked so far.

Any tips how I can prevent this from happening? When I deactivate the plug-in, the menu looks good again.

I love this plugin – but I’ve run across a scripting conflict. I also use “Easy Fancybox” by RavanH in order to cause videos to appear in a popup/lightbox. The problem arises when a video is clicked (to open and play) a second time. The first time it works great, second time the window opens with no content. On that example page, see the second video on the right sidebar, the caption begins “WATCH: Watch the entire show!” If that is opened twice, it won’t play the second time. If I turn off “Lazy load optimizer” the videos load just fine.

i got an error from google console
that my schema is broken

i checked the problem,
and it’s because i have something that looks like this –
<script type=”application/ld+json”>{“@context”:”https:\/\/schema.org\/”,”@type”:”Product”, …
<img class=”lazyload” …

because this is inside JSON
all the ” should be with a prefix of \
so it’s should be
<img class=/”lazyload/” …

it’s because your plugin saw img tag, insert class=”lazyload” for the image
but you didn’t check that you are inside a JSON field.

i did a temporary workaround using real time find and replace
and i change
<img class=”lazyload” class=\”alignnone
to
<img class=\”lazyload alignnone

i changed
\” src=”data:image
to
\” src=\”data:image

and so on

Hi. Just updated to the latest version and I noticed that the images on my site that are being ‘lazy loaded’ are really small now. If I disable the plugin, it shows the full image just like before.

Firstly thanks for your work on the plugin 🙂
What I do not understand is that Pingdom does not give a better page load time when using your plugin and it shows the same amount of http requests (if plugin loaded or not).

On the other hand, GT Metrix show a reduction in http requests and a light increase in load speed when the plugin activated.

Do you know why Pingdom does not see a reduction in http requests when using your plugin?

Hello, after several try-outs of lazy loading plugins and self dependent scripts, I found that your plugin is Lazy load optimizer is perfectly working, no conflicts or other problems.
Still, I need advice regarding special task with background class dynamically re-created on every load, that could not get additional class assigned. So do you have maybe some advice for example initiating per tag case or something other?

I’m having an issue with the plugin and revolution slider. The slider works in general but the images aren’t showing up when the plugin is enabled. I’ve tried to exclude the images but when I do they don’t resize to the set dimensions. They load larger than the slider. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

It seems work on articles (better page speed than before plugin).
But on the HP there is the same issue on Google page speed tool regarding Offscreen Images.

Lazy Load plugin adds the <span> tag to each image in the blog, unfortunately this breaks my pages layout. Any workaround ?

It’s possible to use the plugin only in homepage?
Or restrict to specific pages? For example: in pages with envira gallery photo plugin the lazy load optimizer isn’t compatible. So, would be nice to disable the plugin in that particular pages.

After an introductory paragraph or two, the page is a string of thumbnail images that links to a different page.

I’d like the images to be a solid block, one after the other (although there are a couple of breaks in there right now as I test things), but after installing your plugin, it seems to be putting a carriage return after each thumbnail.

Also, the hot linked area appears to extend from the thumbnail all the way to the right through the content section.

If I turn off Lazy Load Optimizer, this goes away.
