Great plugin and does what is needed. The only issue is it sends posts that are scheduled as well so ?p= URLs so creating a bit of an SEO issue with that URL indexing and when it does turn to publishing as proper permalink.

It’s been a few months since the website has registered with Bing Webmaster Tools and has submitted a sitemap but is not indexed.

I hope by using this plugin the website will be indexed later, but it turns out to be the same.

It’s easy to use but unfortunately doesn’t work well.

I followed the instruction 3 times but the process just failed: the API key generated from the ‘Bing Webmaster Tools’ page is not recognized.

I had to do this manually by copying the XML file to the root of my website directory.
Plugins for Google do much better!

I am one of several people whose website was removed from Bing SERP after adding this plug in. Although my website meets all the guidelines / requirements of BING and I had zero technical issues and was passing all tests, I was initially told by BING help center (after weeks of waiting) that the site wasn’t meeting requirements, which I knew was unlikely. So when I pushed the issue, it was escalated and my site was indexed again. However, a few weeks later my site was once again de-indexed. This time I removed the plugin then contacted Bing again and had to wait months (something about you can’t submit another request within a month of another??) for the issue to be once again resolved. Which it eventually was and, because I no longer use the plugin, this time I have remained on the index (but after months off, I’ve lost my good rankings). I gave two stars to the plug in rather than one because the support team did try!

This plugin made my site URL disappear completely from Microsoft Bing.

I went to the support forum and I am not the only one experiencing this issue. It seems someone has already submitted a support request weeks ago and there has not been a response or a fix.

I would stay away from this plugin, but for us it is too late, we have disappeared from the web according to Bing. fyi, only backlinks show up, any relevant URL will disappear from Bing search queries.

This plugin occurred the critical error on WordPress version 5.7 with AMP plugin version 2.0.11.
It is happy, if support the AMP.

Combined with the Bing Webmaster tools online, this plugin makes for a powerful tool for SEO. A really useful addition to our site, as it helps to automatically include your content in Yahoo and Bing. A real time saver.

После активации и работы выясняется , что из 100 отосланных заявок на индексацию в поисковой системе Bing появились только 10. На следующий день была отправлена 100 заявок в мануальном режиме – реакция поисковой системы полный ноль . Через 2 дня было отправлено 100 заявок через систему в бинге Вебмастер – в поиск попало 5 страниц. Создаётся впечатление что система игнорирует не англоязычные сайты.

The plugin is a good start, but there are a few Quality of life improvements needed to take this plugin from good to great.

(1) Get the API Key to work on a staging subdomain. Every time I merge staging -> Live, the API key on the live site gets reset and I have to re-enter it. When I add the API key on the staging site, I get a “Plugin API error” saying “Adding API key failed: Site Not Registered/Verified In Bing Webmaster”.

Presumably, this is because the site is on a .staging subdomain (same root domain though, so it seems like there should be a workaround this issue).

(2) Bulk URL manual submissions within the plugin

(3) Some feedback on the “Automate URL submission” aspect of the plugin. i.e. which pages were recently sent/removed from Bing’s crawling queue.

Otherwise, as a user even though I have the automated submission enabled, I don’t have any feedback as to whether the plugin is functioning as intended.

This plugin form Microsoft was long-awaited by the developers and site owners. Now the hectic to submit URLs manually is gone. It does submit automatically once a article is published.

I installed this plugin first on my personal family site to test them on my news web site. New web pages were apparently indexed at Bing within minutes as I was able to find them on site:<my side> query. no brainer.

I can’t believe this plugin comes from Microsoft.

It break wp-admin design. Why would you want to insert a global style that applies to all wp-admin pages? One example is view details of a plugin in the plugin page.

It is submitting random urls to bing. My case is when you edit names of menu post links in the built-in menu.

The developer doesn’t seem to have a good understanding of WP system. I am afraid there are a lot of other bugs in the software as well.

I also hope that “Manual URL submission” works. I will activate this plugin whenever I want to manually submit.

Given that 2 stars are works and 3 stars are good. I decided to leave it as 1 star.

I’ll raise my star if I am convinced that the software improves later.
