Despite having so many developers, this plugin is incredibly unsuccessful. It is quite poor compared to its competitors. It doesn’t even work with the most popular themes and plugins, constantly having compatibility issues. It’s nowhere near usable at the moment.

Haciendo comprobaciones me he dado cuenta que el fallo lo da este pluging y se ha solucionado desistelandolo pero ahora tengo la web sin amp porque no hay muchas opciones en pluging AMP y la velocidad de mi web a caido. 🙁

the path for the file – ‘/wp-content/plugins/amp/src/MobileRedirection.php’

and instead it can be $rel = [‘amphtml’]; for displaying not empty rel attribute

AMP acts like malware. I have tried multiple times to deactivate it and delete it from my site and it keeps coming back. I ran a the AMP scan and it says it is basically incompatible with all of my other plug-ins. I can’t tell that it actually works. I would give zero stars as a rating if I could. I hate this plug-in!!!

After updating to WordPress 6.4.1, my site encountered a critical error with the AMP plugin. Links using AMP triggered a WordPress error, compelling me to roll back to version 6.3.2. This plugin is perfect for those of us who want to keep our mobile users happy, but don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a creaky, complicated and error-prone plugin that adds needless complexity.

Bottom line, this is one of those plugins that just works, doesn’t give you any problems, and you can install it, activate it, and be done.

the plugin recommended installing another plugin for GTM, a lazy solution, which in my case doesn’t work

Installed for 2 minutes and as soon as I realized it was causing problems I uninstalled it. Even though I uninstalled it immediately, it continues to create problems and modify the iframes of the maps that I integrate. All my problems with the site going perfectly came with this plugin and with any to generate amp. Forget it and set a responsive as it should be. The amp is a huge rip off.

When you active this plugin and each other plugin, it performs a check for compatibility with other plugins and also themes. This is very good!

However I have gone through several themes (that are supposed to be AMP compliant) and each theme is reported as having issues. (So I uninstall and install another certified theme.) Moreover, on average every second plugin has issues. And most of these plugins are essential for my business (like Woocommerce).

Good Plugin And Simple For Use.

If you disable this plugin it will leave /amp/ on your URLs in the mobile google search results. This means you have to redirect all your posts to save yourself from mass 404 errors.

Total nightmare! Don’t Install it!

Bin überhaupt nicht angetan von dem Plugin. Es ließ sämtliche Produktbewertungen und Rezensionen aus den Google-Suchergebnissen verschwinden. Für einen Buchshop tödlich. 🙂
Hatte den Hersteller des Bewertungsplugins CusRev angefragt und der meinte, AMP sei eine Totgeburt. Er würde das Review-Plugin nicht upgraden, da AMP auf zu wenig Akzeptanz stößt.

Also eher Finger davon lassen.

As a programmer I took this plugin apart before I switched an enterprise platform over and am impressed. Function is excellent. In AMP the presentation is identical with a few programmed exceptions. awesome. That is a worthy goal.
I have used “all” the plugins for AMP / WordPress for years and like this the best.
Really good work.
I have read some of the complaints and wonder if there are some serious code errors in the header.php and footer.php theme files that send the amp conversion into a tizzy. I make that suggestion to others. Check for coding errors in those files.
I have used this plugin with many themes and it’s integrity is great. About 30 sites.
Love it. I do most of my web work outside of WordPress and write all my own PERL Modules for AMP/HTML and spot a good thing when I see it. Thanks so much.
