With Contentlockr you can make your WordPress-content exclusive for leads and/or members only. People can unlock content and become a lead in just a few clicks. By registering with LinkedIn, Google or Facebook or by filling in their email address.

Becoming a member has never been a smoother ride since the people of Newsroomie introduced Superfast Checkout. It’s not just a paywall, because your visitors can checkout first and pay later. But if you want, you can directly ask visitors for their money too.

Marketing Zones let you target visitors, leads and members with personalized marketing on your WordPress-website. For example, to explain leads why it’s a freaking good idea to become a member. You can schedule textual messages, images, videos and HTML-ads on your marketing zones and see what works best.

Sounds great. How do I get started?

1. Go to https://newsroomie.com/get-started and fill in the form
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
3. Navigate to Plugins and click “Add new”
4. Search for “Newsroomie” and Install and Activate it.
5. Newsroomie plugin appears in the menu on the left-hand side
6. Select “Settings” under Newsroomie
7. Paste your Publisher ID and API-key in the email we’ve sent you
8. You can now start generating Leads and make each Post exclusive for New leads, Leads, Members or everyone (in the first couple of hours).

Remote files

The following files are needed to render marketing content (loaded through our API) correctly on the website and collect statistics. We’ve opted to load these files remotely as they’re subject to small and frequent changes. These files are only loaded if you have the tenant set in the config (and you are a Newsroomie customer).

External services

Thirdparty authentication
This plugin connects to the Google and LinkedIn auth API’s which will allow visitors to create a WordPress account using their Google or LinkedIn accounts.
The initial call will be done through our own authentication API after which subsequent calls will be done to Google’s and LinkedIn’s own auth API’s to finalize the account creation. This authentication API is needed so it’s not necessary for the party that installs the plugin to create and configure their own Google and LinkedIn dev accounts.

Newsroomie API
The plugin will make calls to the Newsroomie API at https://*.api.prdn.nl/api.

This connection will allow:
* Synchronizing users from WordPress to Newsroomie to allow setting up mailing campaigns.
* Loading marketing content from Newsroomie into the WordPress website.
* Collect statistics regarding marketing content and pageviews.
