I have already looked for opportunities for social commitment several times this year, but it is sometimes very difficult to find suitable offers or to make contact with the right places. vostel.de makes the search and registration much easier, with just a few clicks you have found something suitable, registered and have all the relevant information at hand. I know how many steps there can be to getting someone involved in projects, but using vostel.de felt really easy and frictionless. I loved that in many cases I could sign up for a shift to try out a task, and then if I liked it simply sign up for some more. And if it wasn't right for me, I could try something else. That let me make the most of my time in Berlin.

Thanks to vostel.de, I've already found lots of great volunteering opportunities and got to know lots of great and different people. The commitments - for example at a cookery seminar for blind and visually impaired young adults - have always given me great pleasure and you grow with the new tasks every time. I can only recommend vostel.de to anyone who would like to volunteer.

Working at the emergency shelter for homeless people really enriched my stay in Berlin and I don't think I would still be in the city if I hadn't got to know the organisation. Many thanks to vostel.de for putting me in touch with them. I hope that I will be able to take part in many more vostel.de projects in the future and get to know the city and its inhabitants even better.

The mission of vostel.de
We are a social enterprise from Berlin and are convinced that everyone should be able to get involved in creating a fair and sustainable world – regardless of time, place of residence, language skills or previous knowledge. We have been working on this mission every day since 2015 with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
Our focus is on inspiring especially younger generations and newcomers (including people with refugee experience, expatriates, exchange students or au pairs) to get involved. To this end, we bring together diverse, innovative and multilingual projects from all over Germany on vostel.de and make it easy to find the right volunteering opportunity for oneself.
