Please follow the steps below to charge:
- Download & Create an account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
- Scan the QR code on the chargepoint (use the blue QR Code circle at the bottom of the map)
- Click on Information to see the charging price. This is set by the venue. If you agree, see the next step.
- Plug in your car to the chargepoint. Then click on Confirm Payment.
- Add a valid payment card and select it. Your payment will be handled by Stripe.
- Click on Start Charging.
This could be due to your car settings. Please check that you have switched off any scheduling, and turned any location specific charging restrictions off.
If the above doesn't work, you can try the following:
- Disconnect the cable from the chargepoint and your car and plugging it back again. Then initiate charging again, or
- Make sure that your car doors are locked and closed and your car is switched off.
You can unlock your cable from the car or click on Stop Charging on the mobile app.
If there is an emergency button on the chargepoint, do not press it to end your session.
This is so that we can ensure your card has the sufficient funds to pay for the session. Please note that this is not a transaction but a reduction in your available balance. After the session has ended, your balance should reflect the correct amount immediately to a few working days (depending on your issuing card bank).
They are sessions that did not manage to charge your car or for some reason a successful session with 0 kWh charged. You will not be charged for failed sessions.
The owner of the venue is the operator and owner of the chargepoint. We provide them with the platform to accept payments and set charging prices that work for them. If you have queries about the charging price, we advise you to direct them to the venue as we do not have control over that.
Owner Support
Yes, they are compatible with all electric vehicles. All vehicles in the U.K. and Europe come with a standard Type 2 charging port and all our chargepoints come with a Type 2 tethered cable or Type 2 socket.
We are neither installers, nor fully-funded solution providers. We provide destination venues with a cost-effective option of owning and investing in their own EV charging infrastructure. We give them the tools to generate significant charging income while we provide the driver support.
Think of us as a complete monetising platform solution provider.
It's 100% subscription-free. We only take a 15% commission fee per successful transaction.
Not at all. You will only need a site-survey if you do not have a local electrician that you work with. In which case we will arrange a suitable time/date with one of our local authorised installers.
Each venue is different but a good average, and one which we strive towards is somewhere around £1,000 to £1,500 for each chargepoint (including the cost of the chargepoint).
