This is where the Sequim Lavender magic starts! Welcome to Victor’s Lavender Farm. Our farm store is in an old milking barn, now instead of cows it is full of our lavender line of products for people and pets, all handmade right here on the farm. Victor’s is a working lavender farm and our nursery is one of largest in the country, propagating over 100 varieties of lavender, and more than one million plants and counting. Today lavender growers throughout the world rely on Victor’s advice and his plants for successful lavender gardens and farms.
Victor, the “Father of Lavender in the U.S.” is your source for the finest lavender in North America!
About Our Products
Our products are all made here on our farm with ingredients that are organic and vegetable-based, free from pesticides and herbicides, and never tested on animals. Our many varieties of lavender oil are distilled here in the Sequim Dungeness Valley or at our Lake Chelan lavender farm.
Our products were developed by Moose Dreams Lavender Company. Beth and Barb created and produced these wonderful products for more than 15 years and earned a great reputation and loyal following throughout the country. When they decided to retire in 2012 they joined forces with Victor and Maribel, sharing their knowledge and secrets in order to continue to have these great products available in our online store!
Almost as far back as recorded history lavender has been used for its healing properties, its power to relax the spirit, ease the pains of mind and body, and to purify the air. Lavender is a natural antiseptic, it is used to relieve muscle aches, headaches, burns, and insect bites and is well known to induce peaceful slumber. When used in steam inhalation it is an effective remedy for coughs and chest congestion. These are just a few of the amazing properties of the ancient herb – the list goes on and on.
Here at Victor’s Lavender we truly enjoy bringing the magic of natural herbs to our customers. We are also committed to being a ‘green’ company and using as many recycled and recyclable materials in our packaging and advertising as possible. A portion of the profit from the sale of our animal products is donated to animal welfare and rescue organizations.
About Victor’s Lavender
When it comes to propagating lavender Victor Gonzalez, our North Olympic Peninsula’s resident expert wholesale lavender grower and supplier, is happy to share his 20+ years of global insights and guidance. He has successfully propagated millions of lavender plants during the last two decades. As a global lavender Ambassador Victor has traveled extensively to provide growing and economic development insight to farmers from Peru & North Africa, to Latin America, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States. Always in demand for his consulting and growing skills, Victor is happy to call Sequim Washington home.
Victor possesses almost intuitive knowledge of growing lavender, which he credits to his family’s farming background. “Although I had never grown lavender before moving to Sequim, my family farmed so I grew up learning about different soils and farming practices,” he said. “I was able to apply my knowledge of farming to lavender growing.”
