Victor Gonzalez and his family welcome you to celebrate the annual Victor’s Lavender Festival, July 19-21, 2024, in Sequim, Washington. Victor’s Lavender is one of Sequim’s oldest lavender farms and a working farm with more than two million lavender plants shipped over the past 20 years. The Festival includes free lavender workshops by the internationally known Victor Gonzalez and colleague Susan Harrington. Plus afternoon jazz concerts and evening barn dances, the smells and tastes of Bella Italia with great fresh food and custom cocktails. We have great lavender products hand-made by Victor’s wife, Maribel Ayala, workshops, u-cut, and lots of expert advice to help you select and care for your plants. There is no admission charge, and free parking on-site. Hours are Friday and Saturday 9am-10pm, Sunday 9am-5pm. Barn Dances, 7-10pm Friday and Saturday.

Wholesale Lavender Orders Available

We are now taking orders for wholesale lavender plants. We sell out every year and prices will increase on January 1, so the fall is the best time to work with Victor and get a custom order ready for your farm. There is a very low minimum order of 4 full trays (2″ trays contain 36 plants and 3.5″ trays contain 18 plants). If you order before December 31, it gives us plenty of time to get your custom order ready for your zone. However, you can order plants anytime throughout the year for delivery at the right time. Be sure to let us know if you have questions or need consulting services.

The Colors of Lavender

You don’t need the JUMBO box of ALL 64 Crayola Crayons to enjoy the full spectrum of colorful hues found in lavender. Only 17 are required!

Lavender Flower Colors are expressed in 17 richly hued varieties, from White, Yellow, Pink, Blue, and into all shades of Purple

With more than 450 varieties of lavender to choose from, you are certain to find the perfect colors for your garden at Victors Lavender.

The color of lavender flowers comes from their calyx, or bud, and corolla, or petals. These two parts of each lavender flower often have slightly different hues from one another. Resulting in a different shade on the color wheel of gorgeous lavender.

When choosing lavender plants for their color, consider the application your eye will take in all their splendor. If selecting lavender varieties for drying, look for those with darker-hued flowers, which will dry to an attractive purple (or blue!). On the other hand, pale flowers, such as pink and white colors look lovely in the garden and fresh bouquets, however, they often dry to an unappealing gray or brown.

When landscaping with lavender’s myriad of stunning contrast of colors, try planting a pale-flowered cultivar, like ‘Edelweiss’, with a deep purple variety like ‘Hidcote’. Some varieties, like the bicolor Spanish Lavender’s ‘Otto Quast’ or ‘Ballerina’, make a statement all on their own. Plant long-stemmed cultivars of several different colors to make beautiful fresh bouquets so you can enjoy lavender indoors as well as out.

Pair these stunning hues with soft gray-green foliage, and you have a beautiful landscaping plant. The delightful spectrum of lavender flower colors broadens the applications of lavender in landscaping, giving you greater creative freedom with this wonderfully fragrant herb.

Victor’s practicing Social Distancing operations

Lavender Farms are a great way to enjoy the summer. Getting outside is very important to our personal health and nothing is better than wandering the beautiful lavender fields with the scent of fresh lavender in bloom. Victor’s Lavender will be following all of the current COVID-19 requirements in affect when you visit

Staff will wear masks
Masks are required for entrance to the store (We will have masks on hand), but not required for wandering the fields
We will be practicing social distancing in the store, workshops, and in the fields
We will sanitize tables, chairs, and other surfaces

“Safe. Sustainable. Step-by-Step.” We need everyone to do their part to enjoy a #SafeStart across Washington.

There is no doubt our nation and the world are going through a very tough time, something unimaginable to most of us alive today. We have never experienced anything close. This is a very trying time in more ways than one and is affecting each and every one of us. If we all abide by the guidelines for staying at home, whether it has been deemed mandatory or voluntary, social distancing, and washing your hands we all can do our part to defeat the spread of this COVID19 virus. By staying united and resolved we will get through this.

While you are doing your part and staying at home – with time on your hands – why not plant some lavender? As you can imagine we are down to a very basic crew. Victor is basically the one holding down the fort now as he is unable to be out on his consulting trips. But he can still ship plants. If you are flexible on plant sizes (2″ vs 3 1/2″), your plants can be shipped to you right away. For immediate shipping please contact us at info@victorslavender.com. Please include your Sales Order Number in your email and Victor will get back to you regarding sizes and varieties currently available.

If close quarters at home are causing tension and the stress levels to rise – try a few drops of Victor’s Lavender Oil in a diffuser or dilute 50/50 and apply to neck and shoulders. It will help to calm the jangled nerves.

Our hearts go out to everyone who has been directly touched by this virus. Please call and check on your loved ones, neighbors and those you know who are most vulnerable. We will win this battle by all uniting and adhering to the guidelines designed to save lives.
