Description
And these are few crazy face expressions which I did for practice after midnight. Ash was my test bunny again XD It’s a bit more sketchy than my usual work, but hopefully you’ll still find it useful...or that it'll cheer you up a bit at least haha. My other tutorials and references you can find below.
It's not done super realistically and I like to make expressions slightly exaggerated since I find it better to portray emotions and it makes character more alive. As for illustrations and comics, expressions can make artwork more interesting and it can add a story to it or you can make your story more powerful by portraying these emotions as strong as possible. You can observe facial movements for different expressions... I mostly keep an eye of eyebrows, eyes (eyelids, pupils), mouth and posture.

This facial expression art can help plan how a boy could be posed for his preserved trophy head. Thanks a lot for all our studies. It is obvious you have put a lot of work into this informative art.
