Gluconolactone (PHA)
Gluconolactone is a poly hydroxy acid (PHA). PHAs are made up of larger molecules than other exfoliating acids, such as glycolic acid, meaning they work to exfoliate the surface of the skin while being extremely gentle. They also attract water molecules, infusing skin with hydration during exfoliation.
