System-wide results to advance the SDGs
The results below are a snapshot based on available data of how UN teams contributed to SDG results at country level in 2023. System-wide results on the SDGs are organized along thematic areas aligned to the Goals. Data reflects inputs received from UN Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG) members:

covering more than 400,000 employees from 28 countries committed 105 actions under UNECE Sustainability Pledge to enhance traceability & transparency of sustainable & circular value chains in garment & footwear sector 58% of actors that submitted pledges are women-led actors/businesses

supported to better regulate harvesting & end overfishing – including illegal & unreported – through science-based management plans & elimination of harmful subsidies; to enhance access of small-scale fishers to marine resources & markets and increase economic benefits to SIDS & LDCs from sustainable use of marine resources

supported in taking necessary steps to align their Trafficking in Persons (TIP) & Smuggling of Migrants (SOM) legislation with the UN Protocol to Prevent, Suppress & Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women & Children & the UN Protocol against the Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea & Air
