Amy Wren

A native of Leicester, England, Amy Wren had her life forever changed when a talent scout from Walt Disney U.K. spied her one day, and felt she'd be perfect for a role in an upcoming series about British teens. That series turned out to be the 2008 comedy sketch show "Life Bites," in which 18-year-old Wren was cast as the 14-year-old lead character, Chloe. Attracting the attention of the Nickelodeon network, Wren was then given a guest role on an episode of the supernatural sitcom "Genie in the House" in 2009, and another guest spot on the long-running British hospital drama "Casualty" followed in 2010. That same year, Wren joined the cast of a new sitcom aimed at teens, "Summer in Transylvania," in which she played a friendly teenaged zombie named Heidi. In 2011, Wren guest starred on the television show "Life of Riley," and later that year her career received a boost when she was tapped to portray Frances Earnshaw in director Andrea Arnold's retelling of the classic "Wuthering Heights." On the heels of this success, the young actress was cast in 2012's "uwantme2killhim?," a dark thriller based on the true story of a teenage boy who discovers the danger in internet relationships.
