Julianne Hough
Born in Utah, Julianne Hough soon discovered her passion for dancing. She began competing in the sport by the time she was 9 years old and even spent time in her teens training in England. She was an acclaimed dancer while overseas, winning numerous competitions and even sneaking her way into an uncredited role in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (2001), effectively her film debut. Returning to America to complete high school, Hough eventually worked her way into television, making her notable debut as one of the Million Dollar Dancers in the William Shatner-hosted game show "Show Me the Money" (ABC 2006). The next year, she appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC 2005) for the very first time. She first paired with Olympian Apolo Ohno in her first season on the show and the pair won the competition. She was a regular dancer on "Dancing with the Stars" for the next few seasons before leaving the show in late 2008 to pursue her music and acting careers. Her first credited film debut was the Christina Aguilera-starring "Burlesque" (2010), followed quickly by major roles in "Footloose" (2011) and "Rock of Ages" (2012). Following those films, she also appeared in "Safe Haven" (2013), Diablo Cody's "Paradise" (2013), and the Robert Pattinson-starring "Bigger" (2018). In 2014, Hough returned to "Dancing with the Stars" as one of the judges, though she left the role in 2017. Two years later, she joined her previous show's rival and became a judge on "America's Got Talent" (NBC 2006-), although she was let go alongside fellow new judge Gabrielle Union after a single season.
