The films chronicling L.A.'s hardcore punk, hair-metal and gutter-punk phenomena! Part II of the Trilogy follows the heavy metal scene in Los Angeles, with particular emphasis on the glam metal subgenre. Spheeris explores the more famous musicians, including Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne and Paul Stanley. Serious issues such as drug use, alcohol abuse and vanity are tackled. The film has also been given a 2K high-definition restoration, which Spheeris supervised.
