Milad Haghani

Dr. Milad Haghani is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering at UNSW Sydney and a former Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow. He is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in public safety, road safety, disaster resilience, crisis management, and urban mobility. His educational work includes teaching Human Factors in Civil Engineering at UNSW and delivering industry-oriented courses through the Australian Graduate School of Engineering. Haghani has authored over 100 scholarly publications and has been published in prestigious outlets such as Science magazine. He frequently contributes analyses and opinion pieces to national and international media.
