Kansas center Hunter Dickinson will return to Kansas for the 2024-25 season, he announced Friday on social media, marking a major offseason victory for the program and coach Bill Self.
A two-time second-team All-American, Dickinson scored 17.9 per game and posted a team-high 10.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks during last season’s campaign.

Dickinson will now use his COVID year of eligibility to return to the program for his final collegiate season. He spent his first three seasons at Michigan, where he averaged 17.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game before entering the transfer portal in March 2023.
He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2021 and 2023 with Michigan, and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection last season with Kansas. The Jayhawks went 23-11 and lost to Gonzaga in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Kansas is ranked No. 7 in The Athletic’s too-early men’s college basketball Top 25.
