Manchester United will assess the injuries sustained by Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen during Saturday’s victory over Luton Town.
Midfielder Eriksen was forced off on the stroke of half time after appearing to suffer a knee problem, before Hojlund was replaced with 11 minutes of normal time remaining after going down holding the back of his right leg.

Manager Erik ten Hag was unable to provide a prognosis for the pair but explained they would both undergo assessments to determine the extent of their injuries.
“In this moment I can’t say anything about it because we don’t know,” Ten Hag said on Hojlund. “We do an assessment but have to wait 24 hours to see what is the problem, if there is a problem.”
When asked if Eriksen had twisted his knee, the Manchester United manager replied: “No, he slipped but it is the same. We have to do an assessment, a diagnosis and then the conclusion.”
Hojlund missed the opening month of the season following his summer move from Atalanta due to a back injury, but has started his side’s last eight Premier League matches, in addition to all four of United’s Champions League group stage fixtures, scoring five goals.
Eriksen has made 15 appearances in all competitions for United this season after missing two months of the 2022-23 campaign with an ankle injury.
United are already contending with a number of injury concerns, with Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans and Amad Diallo all sidelined.
“The problem is any player (being injured) but this is also our season, so many injuries so therefore you have a squad,” Ten Hag said. “Hopefully the players are coming back.”
Ten Hag’s side were 1-0 winners at Old Trafford thanks to Victor Lindelof’s goal on 59 minutes.
Following November’s international break, United return to action against Everton on November 26.
