- Quest offers multi-factor authentication (MFA, 2FA, or two-factor authentication) for registered users. MFA adds an extra layer of security to user accounts, drastically reducing the chances that bad actors can steal sensitive information.
- Our initial solution supports email verification (English language only) and will soon include optional support for additional security factors like text verification.
- If you would like to take advantage of the additional security now supported, you will need to update your Quest/OneLogin profile.
To add a new factor to your Quest/OneLogin profile
- Click Add factor to start the setup.
- A list of all options that are available to you will appear.
- If the Add factor button is grayed out, it means you have already set up all available factors and cant add an additional one.
To delete or remove an unused factor from your Quest/OneLogin profile
For each factor that you previously set up, you will see information about when you configured and last used it.
If you see a factor you no longer use, remove it immediately!
- If the factor is the Primary, go to the menu for the factor and select Unset as Primary.
- Click the menu again and select Remove.
