Intro to multicam video in Final Cut Pro for iPad
You can use Final Cut Pro for iPad to record and edit multicam video—footage of the same event shot from multiple camera angles. With Live Multicam, you can wirelessly connect to devices running Final Cut Camera to record up to four camera angles at once. Video from each camera angle is automatically transferred to Final Cut Pro and assembled into multicam clips in the media browser.
You can also import multicam video shot elsewhere and combine the camera angles into multicam clips. When you edit multicam clips, you can cut between the angles in real time.
You can:
Seamlessly start a Live Multicam session by connecting up to four devices running Final Cut Camera to preview, record, and sync your video angles in Final Cut Pro for iPad.
Use Final Cut Camera to capture professional footage with full manual control. Capture with powerful settings including shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and manual focus. Easily customize your resolution, frame rate, color space, and more. Quickly monitor your video with focus peaking and overexposure indicators.
Edit multicam footage by adding multicam clips to the timeline and then cutting from angle to angle with the touch of a finger.
