Use keyboard shortcuts in Final Cut Pro for iPad
If you have a keyboard connected or paired to your iPad, you can use keyboard shortcuts in Final Cut Pro. Many common tasks, such as opening a specific window or adding a clip from the browser to the timeline, can be accomplished very quickly by pressing one or more keys.
To use a keyboard shortcut, press all the keys in the shortcut at the same time. Keyboard shortcuts for common commands are listed in the table below.

Open and search a list of keyboard shortcuts
In Final Cut Pro for iPad, open a project.
With a keyboard connected or paired to your iPad, press and hold the Command key.
To browse the list, swipe sideways.
To search the list, tap , then enter a search term.
The list is filtered to show keyboard shortcuts that contain your search term.
When you’re finished, tap outside the list.
Editing
