Filter browser clips in Final Cut Pro for iPad
The media browser displays your imported and recorded media. You can filter clips in the browser to show certain types of clips, show clips with specific keywords, hide rejected clips, and more.

Filter clips by type in the browser
In Final Cut Pro for iPad, open a project.
Tap in the toolbar.
Tap at the top of the browser, tap Media Types, then tap an option:
All Media: Shows all available media types in the browser.
Videos: Shows video clips imported into Final Cut Pro.
Multicam: Shows multicam clips. See Intro to multicam editing.
Audio: Shows audio-only clips, such as narration and music.
Photos: Shows still images, including graphics.
The browser updates to show only the media types you chose.
Note: Because you can also filter clips by keywords and ratings (Favorited or Rejected), some clips that you filter by media type may already be hidden in the browser.
Filter clips by keyword in the browser
In Final Cut Pro for iPad, open a project.
Tap in the toolbar.
Tap at the top of the browser, tap Keywords, then tap the specific keywords you want to filter by.
The browser updates to show only the clips with the keywords you chose.
Note: Because you can also filter clips by media type and ratings (Favorited or Rejected), some clips that you filter by keywords may already be hidden in the browser.
Hide or show favorite clips in the browser
In Final Cut Pro for iPad, open a project.
Tap in the toolbar.
Tap at the top of the browser, tap Favorited, then tap an option:
Show All: Shows all available clips.
Only Favorited: Shows only favorite clips or ranges.
Hide Favorited: Hides favorite clips or ranges.
The browser updates to show only the clips with the favorite status you chose.

Hide or show rejected clips in the browser
In Final Cut Pro for iPad, open a project.
Tap in the toolbar.
Tap at the top of the browser, tap Rejected, then tap an option:
Show All: Shows all available clips.
Hide Rejected: Hides rejected clips or clip ranges.
The browser updates to show only the clips with the status you chose.
Note: Because you can also filter clips by media type, keywords, and favorite status, some clips that you filter by rejection status may already be hidden in the browser.
