Om en sökning på datorn ger oväntade resultat
Om du söker på datorn och får oväntade sökträffar provar du följande förslag.
Kontrollera texten du skrivit i sökfältet
Kontrollera att ordet eller frasen är rättstavade.
Vill du söka efter en exakt fras skriver du den inom citationstecken. Skriv t.ex. ”resan till Paris” om du vill hitta objekt som innehåller exakt den frasen. Om du inte använder citationstecken innehåller sökträffarna alla objekt som innehåller något av orden i valfri ordning.
Kontrollera var du söker
Om du påbörjade sökningen i Spotlight kan sökträffarna innehålla e-post, Kalender-aktiviteter, Siri-förslag, information från andra appar med mera. Om du påbörjade sökningen i ett Finder-fönster innehåller sökträffarna bara filer och mappar på den inbyggda hårddisken.
Kontrollera inställningar i inställningar för Siri och Spotlight
Du kan ha uteslutit objekt från Spotlight-sökningar. Kontrollera det genom att välja Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar och sedan klicka på Siri och Spotlight i sidofältet. (Du kanske måste rulla nedåt.) Bland sökträffarna till höger tas objekt med omarkerade kryssrutor inte med bland sökträffarna. Se Välja förslagskategorier.
Du kan ha uteslutit vissa mappar eller skivor från Spotlight-sökningar. Kontrollera det genom att välja Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar och sedan klicka på Siri och Spotlight i sidofältet. Klicka sedan på Spotlight-integritet. (Du kanske måste rulla nedåt.) Se Förhindra att Spotlight söker i filer.
Du kan ha stängt av Platstjänster för Siri-förslag. Se Stänga av Siri-förslag.

Kontrollera arkiv och säkerhetskopior
Vill du hitta en fil i ett arkiv, t.ex. en skivavbild eller en .zip-fil, öppnar du arkivet genom att dubbelklicka på det och söker sedan igen.
Om du använder Time Machine till att säkerhetskopiera datorn kan du söka efter och återskapa filer i säkerhetskopior med hjälp av Spotlight och Time Machine.
