Devices you can use with Apple Fitness+
With a subscription to Apple Fitness+, you can start workouts and meditations on any of these supported devices.
Supported devices
To use Apple Fitness+ on any of the following supported devices, you need a subscription. Learn how to subscribe to Apple Fitness+. Before you start a workout, make sure that you're signed in with your correct Apple ID and that Bluetooth is enabled.
iPhone
iPhone 6s or later with:
iOS 14.3 or later. Learn how to update your iPhone.
A paired Apple Watch Seires 3 or later with watchOS 7.2 or later. Learn how to update your Apple Watch.
iPhone 8 or later with:
iOS 16.1 or later. Learn how to update your iPhone.
iPad
iPad Pro
iPad (5th generation or later)
iPad mini 4 or later
iPad Air (3rd generation or later)
iPad Air 2
Apple Fitness+ is available in the App Store if:
Your iPad can update to iPadOS 16.1 or later and you have an iPhone signed in with the same Apple ID.
Your eligible iPad can't update to iPadOS 16.1, but you have an Apple Watch Series 3 or later signed in with the same Apple ID.
Apple TV
Apple Fitness+ is available on the following Apple TV models that have been updated to the latest version of tvOS:
Apple TV 4K
Apple TV HD
AirPlay on Mac and AirPlay-enabled devices
You can use AirPlay to stream Apple Fitness+ workouts on the following AirPlay-enabled devices and TVs:
AirPlay-compatible smart TVs with the label "Works with Apple AirPlay"
MacBook Pro (2018 and later)
MacBook Air (2018 and later)
iMac (2019 and later)
iMac Pro
Mac mini (2020 and later)
Mac Pro
If you're streaming to a Mac, update to the latest version of macOS. Onscreen workout metrics are available only on some AirPlay-compatible smart TVs. Metrics, such as timers, heart rate, and Activity Ring celebrations are still available on your Apple Watch.
