View or download attachments in Notes on iCloud.com
You can attach items to notes by using the Notes app on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. You can then view and download those attachments—photos, audio files, maps, iWork files, and more—in Notes on iCloud.com, as long as you’re signed in to the same Apple Account.
Note: In locked notes on iCloud.com, you see placeholders for attachments instead of actual attachment content. To view attachments in locked notes, use the Notes app on a device where you’re signed in to the same Apple Account.
View or play photos, audio files, maps, and other attachments
Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select a note that contains the attachment you want to view or play.
Double-click the attachment.
The attached content is downloaded to your computer, opened in the appropriate application, or both.
View and download scanned documents
You can view and download documents that you scanned using the Notes app on your iPhone or iPad.
Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select a note that contains a scanned document.
Do either of the following:
View the document: Double-click the thumbnail of the scanned document.
Download the document: Double-click the thumbnail of the scanned document, then click .
To view and download another document, click its thumbnail in the Scanned Documents window.
View and edit attached iWork documents
You can view and edit Pages, Numbers, and Keynote documents you attached using the Notes app on your devices where you’re signed in to the same Apple Account.
Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select a note that contains a Pages, Numbers, or Keynote attachment.
Double-click the attachment.
A copy of the attachment is saved in iCloud Drive and opens in Pages for iCloud, Numbers for iCloud, or Keynote on iCloud. To learn more about iCloud Drive, see Use iCloud Drive on iCloud.com
Important: Any changes you make only affect the copy of the document saved in iCloud Drive, and not the document attached to the note.
